Announcing The Sustainable Living Guide’s Internship Program

The Sustainable Living Guide is now accepting applications for our Internship Program.  The program’s many different internship positions are already approved by hundreds of universities and colleges. Join us to make a positive difference – together, we can grow a thriving world for all! Students can work with us remotely from wherever they are, or work in person in Austin, Texas, USA! We are thrilled to be able to support young people in developing their skills, strengths, and change-making abilities! CPT sponsorship of international students is also possible.

The Sustainable Living Guide is an unprecedented online education and resources hub featuring web-based classes with renowned authors and experts from all over the world. We provide diverse online classes and free summits, an online directory for businesses and organizations, children’s programs, grant funding for community sustainability projects, and more. Our organization includes dozens of leading experts and changemakers, The Global EcoVillage Network (over 10,000 ecovillages worldwide), NPR’s multi-award winning Interviewer of The Year, seasoned activists and social entrepreneurs. We have expertise across sustainable, regenerative living- catalyzing thriving personal, professional, ecological, and community wellbeing. 

Diverse internships are currently available in many majors and areas of interest including: graphic design,sustainable and regenerative living, filmmaking, journalism, Permaculture, business management, international project development, nonprofit and cause-based outreach, marketing (social and traditional media, lead gen, analytics, JV), web development and IT/tech, research and development, writing, sales and fundraising, education (adult, online, children’s), community organizing, photography, and more. Uniquely created positions for highly motivated and committed individuals may also be considered, whether or not they are seeking academic credit.

Most internships are unpaid but may lead to paid roles.

How To Apply

Materials Needed: cover letter, resume, work samples if applying for roles in video production, graphic or web design. 

Interested students should please start by confirming that your school has already approved us on Handshake https://joinhandshake.com/students/ and apply for any of our current internships through that site.

If you are seeking experience co-creating positive change in the world and do not want academic credit please apply with us directly hr@sustainablelivingguide.org.

We may also be able to work with overseas interns for credit or experience, please inquire first with Handshake if you want school credit. Must be fluent in English, bilingual a plus.
